EVERYTHING you need for a perfect family day. Faith, family and fun! For sixteen years, The FEST has brought together thousands from across our region for great music, amazing people, lots of activities and displays, and uplifting and inspiring prayer. For so many, The FEST is like an annual day of retreat – a time to focus, reflect and prayerfully consider the path forward. The FEST team has worked hard to bring together EVERYTHING you need for a great day. More importantly, our theme for FEST 2016 is EVERYTHING because we know and believe in the promise of the Lord. For those who trust and walk the path, Jesus Christ is EVERYTHING for us. He is our hope, our strength, our path to peace, our wise and faithful companion and our guide. Hopefully, you will see and hear this message throughout the entire day and in all the music and activities. Thank you for joining us. WELCOME TO THE FEST 2016

At last year’s FEST we had hundreds of people sign up for Alpha Village. Alpha Village is The FEST’s way of giving back to our community. The goal of Alpha Village is to provide a lift to an entire neighborhood all at one time. This past year, we focused on the Ohio City area in Cleveland.

We had our first work day on a snowy day in October and were blessed with over 100 volunteers and worked on 13 houses and 3 community gardens. We visited the same neighborhood at Christmas and Easter, going door-to-door delivering hams and offering kind words and prayers. We returned again to this same neighborhood in April and were blessed with over 200 volunteers who worked on 35 homes, 2 community gardens and filled 2 dumpsters with trash and debris from the area. Residents were outside talking with and working alongside volunteers and were extremely grateful for all the outreach. One member from the community said ‘I didn’t know the church did this.’ We reminded them: this is exactly what the church does!

We are looking forward to continuing our work in the fall, but need your help and additional resources! Remember that Jesus is with you in EVERYTHING you do… play, exercise, create, enjoy! Sign your name on our chalk wall if you think Jesus is EVERYTHING! Play in the sand. Have fun with bubbles or our Giant Jenga blocks. Make a dancing ring. Play our foam ball games. See how many bible heroes you can match to their bible story. Toss the ball in the pails, make happy shakers and of course ride around on our bikes…so much to do! The Small Fry Area is located in the tennis courts (by the Volunteer sign in and through the Marc’s Mom’s Relaxation Station).
