The Stroke Society of the Philippines (SSP) in cooperation with the Asia Pacific StrokeOrganization and endorsed by the World Stroke Organization will be holding its Asia PacificStroke Conference 2019 on October 2-5, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia,Pasay City.
Attendance of concerned personnel in DOH hospitals shall be on Official Time at noexpense to the government except salaries.
All other transactions shall be in accordance with Department Order (DO) No. 2007-0053, entitled “Guidelines on the Attendance to Conventions/Seminars/Conference and SimilarHuman Resource Development Activities Outside of the Department of Health,” and DO No.2014-0094, entitled “(Guidelines on the Allowable Rates of Payment for Human ResourceDevelopment Activities.”

The Asia Pacific Stroke Conference is an annual international meeting held in different countries in theAsia Pacific region where experts in the Stroke and Vascular Neurology gather to deliver their ideas onthe current and future directions in the care and managementof stroke and related disorders. This year,the Stroke Society of the Philippines will be the main organizer and host of the said event. Delegatesfrom all over the world, specifically in the Asia Pacific region who are practitioners, researchers,academicians, trainees, or belonging to health-related fields involved in stroke care will be the mainattendees of the conference.
