SLUM AREA WITHDIRTY ENVIORMENT

DEVLOPED AREA WITH CLEAN ENVIORMENT

WHAT DO YOU SEE IN THIS PICTURE??

CAUSES OF UNHYGIENIC ENVIORMENT(BAD WATER)

Poor sanitary conditions and poor quality of water lead to illnesses

like diarrhea and other water borne diseases, affecting the life

expectancy of slum dwellers

Among water borne diseases ,diarrhoea

disproportionately affects children under the age of five .

Poor health among children adversely affects the attendance

rate at schools.

Probabilities of disease in children1)Asthma has been found to be in higher

abundance in homes where there are cockroach infestations.

2) Toxoplasmosis (Toxoplasmosis is a parasitic disease caused by the protozoan Toxoplasma Gondi. The parasite infects most generally of warm-blooded animals, including humans, but the primary host is the felid (cat) family) spreads by contact with cat feces.

3)Many different kinds of animals can transmit ringworm or hookworm to children. It is transmitted from direct contact with an infected animal's skin or hair

4) Rats and mice carry many diseases too numerous to list.
