Specsavers deliversvision screening forRoyal MailRoyal Mail staff in Southamptonhave been participating in a visionscreening programme provided bySpecsavers Corporate Eyecare. 500members of staff benefitted from avision screening day, held on-site atthe Southampton Mail Centre.Theaim of the event was to encouragenon-desk-based staff, some ofwhom do not qualify for company-funded eyecare under health andsafety Display Screen Equipmentregulations, to get their eyesightchecked and visit a qualifiedoptician for a full eye examination.Staff were also offered advice andmoney-off vouchers for eyecareat local shops.

The Southampton Mail Centreplans to make this a regular event.
