Do you remember this? Why did Popeye eat so much
spinach? What happened to him when he ate the spinach?
Why was this cartoon show for children? Ever wonder
about these things? Ever wonder why you should eat
Vegetables and Fruits? Ever wonder why its good to
EAT healthy. Well if not, here is your chance to
learn and share!
TaskYOUR MISSION , if your group chooses to stay
healthy will be to learn about Healthy Foods and
their benefits. Then you all will gather all the
information and make a menu of what someone
your age should eat for breakfast, lunch, and
dinner. After that, your group will share out
your menus.
We will then combine all the menus together and put together a class menu of a HEALTHY REGIME to stay Healthy!
ProcessFirst, get into groups and use the links provided to find out what information will be helpful for you to create a menuNext, make a breakfast menu of foods a student your age should eat. Next to each food write down why the student should eat it and what are the benefits of the foodRepeat step two for both lunch and dinner. Remember to write down what the benefits of each type of food is.After that, use Microsoft Word, to type your menu for the day. You may make your menu as creative as you like.When you are done practice your presentation. When your group is ready, present your healthy menu to the class.
