Actions from the Strategic Plan • Implement Accessible Mental Health Services for People with

an Intellectual Disability: A Guide for Providers. • Training in the recognition, assessment, referral pathways and

treatment for people with an intellectual disability and mental illness for all staff in mental health and disability services.

• Develop strategies to adjust from present NSW Health / ADHC relationship in view of NDIS implementation.

• Develop a recovery-oriented model of care for the provision of public mental health services to people with an intellectual disability

• Develop accessible information for people with an intellectual disability and their families and carers about mental health services
