History and evolution• To maintain a healthy lifestyle exercise is a major key that supports it.• Exercise has been a major part of peoples lives since 65BC. In 1949 a man

named Jerry Morris discovered a link between physical exercise and health risks. Now days people exercise for a number of reasons including health problems, enjoyment, health wellness, weight loss and the use of it to avoid disease.

• Exercise can help the brain function, sleep patterns, health disorders, the immune systems and the bodies muscles.

• In the 1900’s swimming was a very popular type of exercise along with exercise machines, physical culture programs that were introduced and for the man it was simply the way they worked long hours of hard labor each day that contributed to their health as it was exercise.

Personal impact• People exercise for a number of different reasons but to

be able to make a difference there are also a number of different impacts it can make on the body and the mind.

• Exercise has many effects including physical and mental, people often exercise to keep their bodies strong and fit and able to do daily tasks that life brings without putting strain or pain on their bodies.

• While some exercise purely for their body strength and ability others exercise to help their mind and spirits. Exercise releases endorphins in the body that can help behavior and emotions that make you feel fantastic. Although some people vary in fitness most people overall feel good after exercise because it is simply good for the body to move and mind to clear.

Social impact• Exercise is a fantastic way for people of all ages and sizes

to socialise. To eat healthy food and maintain a good lifestyle people often do a number of things to socialise that involve exercise-

• Getting together to eat a healthy nutritious meal after exercising

• Being apart of a sporting team• Getting together for a group fitness session outdoors• Using a gym membership to join the fun of gym classes

with friends• Visit recreational centers

All of the above create a place where people can use exercise as a tool to meet and greet new people or get together with old friends.

education• It is extremely important for people to be educated

about education for it to help their healthy eating and lifestyle. Particularly in this day and age where obesity and depression are two major problems, exercise can help both of these problems.

• Children need to be educated about exercise as soon as they reach an age where they can understand it and take part in it. During school hours and in the comfort of their home they must be educated by the adults around them.

• Adults continuously are educated about exercise as it if everywhere we go, Television adds, billboards, restaurants and gyms are all around us reminding us that exercise is good to do and giving us new ideas of how to make it fun so we have a great lifestyle and knowledge of healthy eating.
