Healthy Relationship
Some of these relationships are very important to us for different reasons.
There are three basic types of relationships:1. People we trust and share our private thoughts with and whose opinions matter most. Examples: close friends, seniors etc.2. People in our community we recognize by their role in society. Examples: teacher, police
officer, bus driver, neighbor etc.3. All relatives as well as any other people we consider family. Examples: children, parents,
aunts, uncles, cousins etc.

avoiding you.2.Your mother shouting at you for fighting with you
sister/brother for not your fault.3.Your brother/sister keeps complaining about you to
your parents.4.Your secret is published to others by your close friend.

ACTIVITY worksheet
OUTCOME The students develop a deeper understanding of relationships. Ability to analyze the types of relationships. Develop an ability to develop successful inter-personal relationships with friends, seniors, relatives
and neighbors
1. Draw a "Mind-Map" put your name (Photo) in the centre of a small circle.2. Around the circle, draw a series of circles that represent all the relationships you have.3. Write the names or roles of those closest to you in the circle that goes around your
name, and then do the same for all the other circles moving outward. E.g. in the circle around your name, you might list the names of family members. The next circle will have names of
your friends, the next your teachers, then cousins, relatives, etc.
4. Talk about the relationships you have with each person or group of people, (how "close" they are, how much personal information you share, how much you trust each person).* Whom do you consider to be part of your "support system" - people
you would go to for help with a problem?*Students lead teachers in this exercise - who is closest to you might
not be who or what you think is closest.
