What the members have to say about their center!

“MEMBERS’ PAGE” HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL MEMBERS

hat the ave tabowwwwwwMMMut H.E.A.R.T.S

I enjoy life to the fullest, trying to make people laugh and enjoy my company and have a good time with me and make my wildest dreams come true. My life has not been too wonderful but I had to change my life around for better or worse.

Look, people can make fun of you and talk about you. I just take it one step at a time. Try my best to be myself. Had to change my life for better or worse.Jimmy Bragel12-29-16

I had great childhood summers when I was growing up. I was a lucky little girl and I got to go to a private girls’ summer camp, in the great mountains of New Hampshire.

This camp had lots of awesome activities, from small boats to horseback riding, archery, tennis, trampoline, field sports, field trips, awesome arts and crafts, swimming, and dances with the boy’s camp across the lake. I went to this awesome camp for five years. Every summer during those five years I made some great memories and friends. I got an archery award, and everyone at camp voted me the most mail received in a two week session. I learned so many skills and have used them since then. Also there were girls from all over, so I got to know many different people. It was great going to camp and I am so grateful to my mum for giving me this camp experience.

It’s one I will never forget!Judi S.

The center is a safe place to go, a place to socialize with your peers. Learn new activities learn about healthy cooking. Do education activities on the TV and through groups using WRAP and IPS. Having different people come in and talk to us about programs that might be good for us to know about. Anonymous

In WRAP group we made collages all about us. We listened to inspirational music. It was nice to have the community involved.Leslie R.

The center is a place where you can have fun. Play games, color, learn how to knit, crochet, and have pool tournaments, cribbage tournaments. We get rides in to the center and back home. We have a place for people to come and stay if they don’t feel well. Glen

The week of the 24th through the 28th of October 2016 theCopeland Center for Wellness and Recovery came to New Hampshire for the first time to do a Facilitator Training, but an Advanced Level Facilitator of Wrap Training.

Why do roses cost $75 dollars during St. Valentine’ Day and after $25?

Don’t get hit with his arrow.

It was an honor to have three of the best certified Advanced Level Facilitator’s of WRAP. Jane Winterling (4th middle row), John “Joch” Woodward from Los Angles (6th from end top row) and Rona McBriety from Scotland (8th from end top row), myself Tom (9th top row) and our newest Advanced Level Facilitator of WRAP and my partner Jude Grophear (second front row) all are left to right. Rona who has been doing WRAP Trainings for longer then she would care to admit said that we had the highest average score of any class she has taught. The class participants were from Canada, Missouri, Colorado, and New Hampshire. I am sorry about the delay in putting this in the February Newsletter, but I had a hard time finding someone to develop the film.
