What is the function of the heat exchangers in general, and this type of heat

exchanger?

As the name implies, heat exchangers are devices where two moving fluid streams

exchange heat without mixing.

Air to air heat exchanger removes stale indoor air, replacing it with fresh, clean air

from outdoors. These mechanical ventilation systems help prevent exposure to harmful fumes

and gases while also getting rid of humidity buildup that could create mold, mildew, andother damage to a building. Air to air heat exchangers also help heating and cooling systems

run more efficiently by removing excess humidity, contaminants, odors, and other air

pollutants.

Air to air heat exchangers are designed to meet re!uirements of modern, tightly built,

and highly insulated homes and buildings while also reducing heating and cooling costs. They

also help protect against sic"ness or other health issues resulting from the exposure to fumes
