Large-areacollectorscanbeinstalledon-roofwithallcurrentroofclad-dings. The situation lends itself to outdoor mounting next to the house/buildingprimarilywheretheroofisunsuitableduetothedirectionofthesunorwhereitcannotbeoccupiedforstaticreasons.Inthecaseofbothinstallation variants, the collector is housed in an aluminium frame.

Thespecificcostsarelowerforlarge-area collectors, as a greater area can beassembledinlesstime.

Eveninstorms,theweatherresistantcollector cladding provides little areaasatargetandwithstandsallweatherconditions.Theuseofwoodfor the collector frame produces the same material properties as the roof truss. As such, the collector harmo-nisesexcellentlywiththeroof.Therisk from thermal stresses is reduced to a minimum.

The in-roof collector is fixed directly totherafters,surroundedwithpla-ting and therefore provides a rain-proof outer skin.
