Heavy Crepe Paper Peony

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Gather tools and materials.

2. Cut the crepe paper according to template notes using scissors or the Cricut Maker.

3. Color the top 1/4 of the pinked edge of the crepe paper.

4. Fringe the same edge 3/4 of the way down.

5. Roll the fringe around the end of the wire and glue into place.

6. Cover the small foam ball with one of the extra small pink petals, then push the wire through the ball and glue it under the flowers center.

7. Curl and cup each of the petals.

8. Glue 9 of the small petals spaced evenly around the ball.

9. Glue 6 of the medium petals evenly around the flower.

10. Glue 6 of the large petals evenly around the flower.

11. Glue the remaining 6 medium petals evenly around the flower.

12. Glue the small green leaves around the base of the flower.

13. Glue a wire between the two leaf halves so the grains form a V in the middle.

14. Wrap the flower and leaf stem with floral tape.

INSTRUCTIONS (CONTINUED)

15. Glue a wire into the foam ball.

16. Glue 3 of the extra small pink petals around the top of the foam ball .

17. Glue 3 of the green petals around the bottom of the foam ball.

18. Glue 2 small leaves to the base of the bud then wrap the stem with floral tape.
