yObesity is a condition that can cause severe health problems in hedgehogs.

If you notice a large jump in weight, it is best to cut back on feeding pellets, or look into a feed that is lower in fatcontent. Wheels are essential to hedgehogs for proper exercise to prevent obesity.Hedgehogs generally weigh 250-550 grams as healthy adults. It’s important to weigh your hedgehog regularly (at leastonce a week) as weight can be a good indicator of health problems.
