Now for the first time the Vindolanda Trust can provide a residential base for groups visiting Hadrian’s Wall country. The Hedley Centre at Vindolanda is a unique venue with five luxury en-suite bedrooms providing comfortable accommodation for up to 9 residents.
Traditional breakfast are served in the dining room with dietary requirements can be catered for. The centre is located 100 metres from Vindolanda museum, and each bedroom has fantastic views of the Roman Fort.
Secure on-site car parking is provided for residents and all bedrooms are accessed by a secure key-card.
Access to the Meeting Room is available on request. The building has Wi-Fi access and FreeSat television is available in the common room.

Directions to the Hedley Centre, Vindolanda.
Leave Newcastle traveling west on the A69. Approx. distance 30 miles (past Hexham) to the Small
village of Bardon Mill, just past the signs for Bardon Mill there are signs for Vindolanda on the A69.
Turn right and following the signs. At the next junction the signs to Vindolanda point to the Left, DO
NOT follow these signs and go to the right and up the bank. Go about a mile up the bank and around
the corners. Once at the top you will come to a sign that says ‘Vindolanda Museum’. Turn left down
the road. At the bottom you will see a drive with two white lions. Turn left and park the car. Walk
down the drive to the museum building.
From Carlisle, same directions other than turn left off the A69!
PLEASE NOTE: If you require parking this must be pre-booked. Closer to the
event you will be advised whether you should park in the east car park or at
the Hedley Centre itself.
