There are 6 secrets in this mission:

Secret #1: There’s a lever under the night table that opens a secret floor panel under this bed. However,the bed blocks this secret to those playing on Hard and Expert. On Normal, the bed is missing, allowing

the player to access the secret.

Secret #2: There’s a lever behind the statue on the right. However, it’s lockedby a lockbox just above the lever. It moves the statues directly across from it.

Secret #3: There’s a lever behind this small pedestal table that opens a door onthe opposite end of the hall.

Secret #4: Although hard to see here, the torch lever opens a secret door.

Secret #5: Fire a rope into the ceiling panel FRAME, climb up and then frob tha panel. This is the stairwell across from Lord G's private library, the one locked with a gearbox.

Secret #6: This bookcase hides a secret room. However, the devices that open it are all different, according to the difficulty level you’re playing. (See next page for locations.)

Secret #6 (Normal): There’s a button almost directly across from the bookcase.

Secret #6 (Hard) The switch controlling the bookcase is behind this desk.

In Heist Society, your starting point varies in accordance with your difficulty:

Normal: You start in the East, near a kitchen and sleeping quarters.Hard: You start in the SE corner near some trees.Expert: You start in the NE, in a cemetery.

Since this FM has switches, levers, loot, and other stuff in alternate places for the differentdifficulty levels, I’ve not provided a walkthrough. A key location list is included, however.

Objectives:

Find written proof that Gellard eavesdrops on his guests so he can control andblackmail them.

Don’t set off any alarms or overly alert the guards. (Optional) (Expert) Loot Goal: 1000 (Normal), 1700 (Hard), 2400 (Expert) Steal five of Lord Gellard’s precious china vases. (Expert) Steal Gellard’s gem collection, located in the gallery. (Expert) Don’t kill any innocents! (Hard) Don’t kill anyone! (Expert) Find Captain Horath’s quarters and search it for information on the location of the

secret passageway. (Hard, Expert) Floor plans of any Noble’s property can be a rich commodity to the right person, and

your semi-complete map will be an attractive purchase for someone. (Bonus) (Hard)

It pays to look up, as there are alternate paths accessing various rooms in the mansion.

When you find Captain Horath's bedroom, there will be a scroll on the desk and a bronze gear.Reading the scroll will open up this objective:

Lord Gellard’s private library is your best lead for the secret passageway. Once yourother objectives are complete, use it. (Expert)

Once you get into Capt Horath's room, throw the lever under the nightstand to open a nearbyfloorboard (secret). In the crawlspace is a diary. Reading it will complete a bonus objective:

Captain Horath’s brutality towards those opposed to his lord is legendary, but nowyou have proof... and so will the Bulldogs. (Bonus)

Where’s the gear to open the gearbox lock on the 3rd floor?

Where’s the Lord’s staff?

It’s on the 2nd floor in bedroom over a fireplace. (Hard Only)

Where's the key for the lockbox behind the statue in secret #2?

Several keys can open it:

How do I shut off the security cameras?

On expert, the upstairs cameras are controlled by a switchbox on the top floor in the SWcorner. The metal door leading to the switch box is opposite the huge bathroom area, neara set of stairs leading down. You'll Security and Housekeeping keys to get to theswitchbox.

I found a couple of frobbable books in the library. What do they do?

They toggle the security cams on and off.

How do I shut off the alarms so I can swipe the gems from the gallery cases?

The shutoff is in the basement.

NOTEDon’t set off any alarms or overly alert the guards. You will fail

this goal if you leave bodies where they can be discovered.

How do I get the bonus objective that involves the Guildmaster paying to keep a certainrecording silent?

Once you unlock and move the statue (see secret #2 above), frob the Victrolas. Afteryou've listened, take the recording with you.

Where do I escape once I’m done?

Head to the basement and go NW. Finding secret #6 will reveal the route.
