Hellen Keller was born in 1880.

When she was two, she was very sick. Then she became blind and deaf.

In 1887， she met her teacher, Anne Sullivan. Anne was a patient teacher.

Anne taught Helen how to speak.

Helen showed the world that blind people can do great things.

Helen was good at writing too. She wrote many books. The most famous one is The Story of My Life.

Helen passed away in 1968. Today, people all over the world still admire her for what she did.
