YALLEEN IRON ORE JV
HIGHLIGHTS
• 600km² of tenements located in the Robe River catchment,30km east of Pannawonica.
• Large tonnage CID & BID exploration target potential
• 10,000m drilling program underway - $2.3M budget to Q2-2008
• JV Partner & Manager API (Aquila/AMCI) –Iron ore focused technical team, market support and solid development plans
• Pre-feasibility studies already underway on surrounding API JV’s
• HLX maintain 30% of iron ore rights and 100% ownership of tenements
GLENBURGH PROJECT
HIGHLIGHTS
• First stage of regional exploration completed, four areas assessed with exploration drilling
• +1g/t Au intersected at all four areas tested, North East 3 and Barracuda Prospect areas showing the most promise.
• North East 3 – Four out of five holes intersected +1g/t Au, 20-30m wide mineralised zone (>0.1g/t Au) with up to 8m @ 2.5g/t Au in recent drilling (100m spaced drill lines)- Surface geochem and geological mapping suggest up to 2km of untested strike length- Additional surface geochem sampling, mapping and follow up drilling in Q4 2007
• Barracuda – Several holes intersected +1g/t intervals over structurally complex target with variable regolith covering the area. Additional structural mapping and auger geochemistry planned to assist in defining targets
• Q4 2007 Drilling (5,000m) to focus on building up resource potential at all known and new prospects
• Current inferred resource of 1.09Mt @ 3.1g/t Au for 108,000oz, aiming to increase to greater than 400,000oz by mid 2008 to coincide with internal study into possible development scenarios.
GENERATIVE PROJECTS
HIGHLIGHTS
West Pilbara Project
• Targeting VMS/VHMS base metal mineralisation - Infill geochemical sampling and field mapping undertaken during September-October (Results are pending)• Hyperspectral survey interpretation identifies possible zoned hydrothermal alteration systems in area.• Granting of tenement with Radio Hill Style nickel targets paves way to carry out detailed aeromag survey and depth modeling of targets.
Adelaidian Projects
• Parachilna - New exploration model for copper around Blinman area; Presence of significant alteration mineral assemblages; morphology of the known copper mineralisation may be related to hydrothermal activity in the area.
• Olary – alteration associated with historic gold prospects on our tenements suggest hydrothermal influence from late stage granites in structural corridors.
HELIX STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Secure large exploration ground holdings in prospective mineral provinces• Utilise geological capabilities/skills to efficiently explore with our available funds• Create value for shareholders through our exploration and development activities• Maintain an ethical and professional environment that attracts and retains talented professionals
