Hello everyone!

I want to wish you all a Happy Easter and a blessed Divine Mercy Sunday. I think we might be getting to a point where when we say “this year looks different than the last” and it’s a good thing! Last year on Easter, I remember watching Mass in the living room with my family, and going to sing Easter songs for my grandmas in their driveways. This year, as we sat together, I saw the utter joy on my grandma's face that we were able to celebrate Easter together. And I saw the joy as we gathered together in the Church to celebrate our Lord's resurrection.

As we continue into the Easter season and into the rest of the year I’m excited for all the things to come that won’t look at all like last year. I’m excited for all the opportunities we’ll have to be together as a Church Family and the different ways we’ll grow together in holiness.

We’re looking forward to the different events that will give us the chance to help our community like the Spring Faith in Action Day and the collection hosted by the Social Concerns Committee for Children's Keepers. We’re also excited about the events that just give us a chance to be together, like the bike and bicycle blessing, the boat blessing, and the Food Truck Festival. We’re excited about the events put on by our small groups like the Clothes Swap coming up hosted by the Mom’s group.

We have so many opportunities to make this year nothing like the last one. So let’s recognize each one of those moments, see the joy, and grow in holiness together. Faithfully Yours, Bernadette Rusher

In your kindness, please pray for the families of Betty Anspach and Lilly Ann Sprankel, who passed away recently. May the Lord guide them to their eternal rest. A HUGE THANKS to everyone that helped to make our Triduum and Easter Masses so beautiful: from the decora-tors to the musicians to our ministers and to everyone that participated. We are blessed to have such a wonderful Church Family! The Diocese of Toledo is currently in the midst of its Annual Catholic Appeal, to support the important ministries around our Diocese. Here is an update of where our Parishes are at: St. Ann has surpassed its goal of $18,035 and is currently at 104.27% of our goal. St. Joseph has collected $8,185 towards it goal of $36,305, meaning we’re at 22.55% of our goal. Just a friendly reminder, these funds support seminarians and deacons in formation, the Tribunal, and other important work. Thanks for your generous support . Adorers needed! If you have a free hour on Tuesdays, please consider taking a Holy Hour to spend at St. Joseph with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. We are particularly in need of people for the 12-1pm and 1-2pm hours. Please call Courtney at the St. Joseph Office to sign up.

Are you moving or has any of your contact information changed? Please remember to update your Parish Office so that we can stay connected. We love our Church Family and we want to stay connected! Thanks to your generous support of the Gift of Faith, we have many projects underway around our churches including: new offices in the Faith Life Center (FLC), new doors for FLC, new HVAC in St. Joseph Parish Hall, new windows for garage at St. Joseph and much more. Thanks for all of your support! Annunciation Radio’s Spring Sharathon is coming up! Listen and pledge April 27th-30th and help us continue providing Catholic programming to listeners throughout our Toledo Diocese. In these difficult times, we need to make sure we have the operating funds to carry us to the fall. Call during the Sharathon, or make a secure online donation now at www.annunciationradio.com or on our mobile app. Annunciation Radio serves listeners throughout the diocese of Toledo. 89.7 Toledo, 88.1 Sandusky, 89.9 Bryan, 89.5 Mansfield, 90.9 Willard.

This week our bulletin feature is on Wayne and Nancy Morroney! They have been members of St. Joseph Church since moving to Fremont in 2004 with their two kids, Amanda and Ben. Since then, they have been active members in the Church and in our community. Nancy runs one of our connect groups and serves on Pastoral Council and they are both readily available to volunteer. Although they are registered members of St. Joseph they feel equally at home at both parishes and appreciate all of the opportunities to grow in their faith through the groups available at St. Ann and St. Joe. Thank you, Wayne & Nancy for being a part of our Church Family.

As Saint John Paul the Great once said, “Dear young people, let yourselves be taken over by the light of Christ, and spread that light wherever you are.” Many of our youth have come to know the light of Christ more fully through the Franciscan University of Steubenville Youth Conference. For the past five years (minus last summer), we have taken a group of FACT teens to a conference and we are so excited to attend again THIS SUMMER! Our group will join many other high school youth from across the country to learn about their faith, experience God’s love more fully & enjoy time with their friends. This experience is a gift for them, their families, our parishes, schools, and community. We will be taking up a second collection in all three parishes the weekend of April 10/11 in an effort to offset the cost. Let us join together as Fremont Catholic Community to financially support them and spiritually lift them up in our prayers. Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.

O Jesus, Eternal Truth, our Life, I call upon You and I beg Your mercy for poor sinners. O sweetest heart of my Lord,

full of pity and unfathomable mercy, I plead with You for poor sinners. O Most Sacred Heart, fount of mercy from which

gush forth the rays of inconceivable graces upon the entire human race, I beg of You light for poor sinners. O Jesus, be

mindful of Your own bitter Passion and do not permit the loss of souls redeemed at so dear a price of Your most

precious blood. O Jesus, when I consider the great price of Your blood, I rejoice at its immensity, for one drop alone

would have been enough for the salvation of all sinners. Although sin is an abyss of wickedness and ingratitude, the

price paid for us can never be equaled. Therefore, let every soul trust in the Passion of the Lord, and place its hope in

His mercy. God will not deny His mercy to anyone. Heaven and earth may change, but God’s mercy will never be

exhausted. Oh, what immense joy burns in my heart when I contemplate Your incomprehensible goodness, O Jesus!

I desire to bring all sinners to Your feet that they may glorify Your mercy throughout endless ages.

O my Jesus, despite the deep night that is all around me and the dark clouds which hide the horizon, I know that the

sun never goes out. O Lord, though I cannot comprehend You and do not understand Your ways, I nonetheless trust in

Your mercy. If it is Your will, Lord, that I live always in such darkness, may You be blessed. I ask You only one thing,

Jesus: do not allow me to offend You in any way. O my Jesus, You alone know the longings and sufferings of my heart.

I am glad I can suffer for You, however little. When I feel that the suffering is more than I can bear, I take refuge in the

Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, and I speak to Him with profound silence.

I am giving you three ways of exercising mercy toward your neighbor:

the first- by deed, the second - by word, the third- by prayer. In these three degrees is

contained the fullness of mercy, and it is an unquestionable proof of love for me.

- Jesus’ words to St. Faustina

SPRINKLING RITE: Water of life, cleanse and refresh us; raise us to life in Christ Jesus.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love is everlasting.

ENTRANCE ANTIPHON: Like newborn infants, you must long for the pure, spiritual milk, that

in Him you may grow to salvation, alleluia.

1. We walk by faith, and not by sight:

No gracious words we hear

Of him who spoke as none e'er spoke,

But we believe him near.

2. We may not touch his hands and side,

Nor follow where he trod;

Yet in his promise we rejoice,

And cry 'My Lord and God!'

3. Help then, O Lord, our unbelief,

And may our faith abound;

To call on you when you are near,

And seek where you are found:

4. That when our life of faith is done

In realms of clearer light

We may behold you as you are

In full and endless sight.t.

KEEP IN MIND

Keep in mind that Jesus Christ has died for us and is risen from the dead. He is our saving Lord,

He is joy for all ages.

GIFT OF FINEST WHEAT

You satisfy the hungry heart

With gift of finest wheat;

Come give to us, O saving Lord,

The bread of life to eat.

1. As when the shepherd calls his sheep,

They know and heed his voice;

So when you call your fam'ly, Lord,

We follow and rejoice.

2. With joyful lips we sing to you

Our praise and gratitude,

That you should count us worthy, Lord,

To share this heav'nly food.

3. Is not the cup we bless and share

The blood of Christ outpoured?

Do not one cup, one loaf, declare

Our oneness in the Lord?

4. The myst'ry of your presence, Lord,

No mortal tongue can tell:

Whom all the world cannot contain

Comes in our hearts to dwell.

WE WALK BY FAITH

1. Alleluia! Alleluia!

Let the holy anthem rise,

And the choirs of heaven chant it

In the temple of the skies;

Let the mountains skip with gladness,

And the joyful valleys ring

With hosannas in the highest

To our Savior and our King!

2. Alleluia! Alleluia!

Like the sun from out the wave,

He has risen up in triumph

From the darkness of the grave.

He’s the splendor of the nations,

He’s the lamp of endless day;

He’s the very Lord of glory

Who is risen up today!

3. Alleluia! Alleluia!

Blessed Jesus, make us rise

From the life of this corruption

To the life that never dies.

May your glory be our portion,

When the days of time are past,

And the dead shall be awakened

By the trumpet’s mighty blast!

ALLELUIA ALLELUIA

LET THE HOLY ANTHEM RISE
