years of design expertise. My real joy comes from getting inside

the nucleolus of a business and subsequently helping to bring

Chapple Design has created a simple branding development set of

packages to suit your personal and business goals. You are vested

Identity knowhow down into Starter Packages that give you the

biggest bang for your buck.

Over the years, working with independents to Fortune 500

companies, I often get asked, “how much is a logo?”. While this

is seemingly a very straightforward question, it is like asking,

“how much is a car?” or “how much is a wedding?” A common

retort would be, “how much is your mechanic?” or “how much is

your new kitchen?” Good design takes time. Investing over 40+

hours is common, often more.

So, to answer the question, “How much is a logo?”

Imagine, what your mechanic charges (say $90 an hour)

x 40 hours = base cost of a logo ;-)

But a logo alone is not the answer. And a logo is not “a brand”.

A “brand” is what sticks in your future followers mind. This is what

PHASE 1 ORIENTATION & RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT

We gather information, clarify overall project objectives and

define specific design criteria.

PHASE 2 THUMBNAILS

Laying pen to paper, we explore many rough conceptual logo

identity possibilities then review online.

PHASE 3 COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT

From the thumbnail sketches in Phase 2, 2 or 3 directions will be

fleshed out, including up to 2 rounds of changes arriving at a final

single concept.

PHASE 4 FINAL ART DEVELOPMENT

Artwork goes into final production. Final digital vector logo

identity (reproducible at any size) will be rendered including:

4 color process, RGB and Black & White provided in EPS, PDF

PNG JPG standard industry formats . All artwork uploaded for

easy client download and made available 4 weeks thereafter.

Need a website fast and don’t know where to start? We can take

you from start to finish in just a few weeks. We will build your new

website on the very stable Squarespace platform where you will

choose your preferred monthly contract starting at $8 a month.

Or you can choose to self host a custom built WordPress site. Your

beautifully designed SEO website will provide a very user-friendly

and mobile responsive experience for your target market. No need to

worry about learning “code”. We will show you how to manage your

new site through the simple web-based interface.

HERE’S WHAT YOU GET:

* Be sure to purchase your URL (site name) before we start.

•PHASE 1: ORIENTATION & RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT

First we sit down and begin to understand what you want your

site to “do”. Ultimately having this criteria as a guide will help

bolster decision-making.

Your website will include:

one Squarespace templated design or

one WordPress custom or templated design.

Either will include one home page design and 5 additional pages

such as About, Portfolio, Contact, Services, Blog.

With Squarespace, you pick a site theme and we start the

fleshing out process while designing within that themes structure.

With WordPress, we begin to set up the site on the WordPress

framework on the server of your choice. (We use iPage.com)

Then we show 2 sample layouts of Home page and one other

page, from which you choose a design direction.

•PHASE 2: DESIGN

Once the theme (Squarespace or WordPress) has been populated

with your supplied professional images and text and designed to

perfection by us, we will review the site. Additional galleries,

pages, tabs can be purchased at an additional fee, or after the

Phase 4 Hand-Off training, you can do so yourself.

•PHASE 3: REVIEW

When all feedback from the PHASE 2 DESIGN is received, we

will provide up to 2 more revision rounds if necessary. It usually

takes only a few tweaks to get a site settled nicely. When

everything is “signed-off” we will transfer site details to you.

•PHASE 4: THE HAND-OFF

We hand you the keys to your smokin’ hot site and we’ll even

toss in a 1/2 hour of support to get you comfortable with how you

can update text, create a blog post, upload photos etc. 30 days of

support is included when your “on-boarding” process begins.
