Ohio Assessments for Educators (OAE)
• In the fall of 2012, the Ohio Department of Education selected Evaluation Systems group of Pearson to validate assessments for use in Ohio.
• The OAE program consists of 42 licensure assessments.
– Pedagogy assessments for four licensing levels
– Content knowledge assessments for teaching, administrative, and professional pupil service licenses
