Our technology and sourcing team has over 20 years of experience and can advise on the full range of technology and sourcing transactions. These include transactions relating to (i) software and technology licensing, (ii) managed network services, (iii) hardware supply and support contracts, (iv) ‘as a service’ and other cloud models, (v) application development, and (vi) data centre and hosting transactions (including leases and managed services).

Globally, we act for approximately 250 information technology and software suppliers who offer a range of ICT goods and services to consumers and businesses. These include HP, Cisco, Amazon, Nokia, Microsoft and Dimension Data. We represent clients across all sectors, including financial services, insurance, energy, consumer products, manufacturing, transportation/logistics, healthcare, retail, media and telecommunications.
Locally, our team has grass roots experience in navigating the challenges and harnessing the opportunities inherent in the South African (and broader Africa) market and have specialist skills in public procurement and regulatory law. We are also the only major international practice with an office in Mauritius.
