When an injury comes between your child and the activity he or she loves, the team at our Sports Medicine Center can help. We treat athletes eight years and older who play sports at all levels—recreational, scholastic, collegiate or professional.

Led by Dr. Michael Cordas, one of the most respected primary care sports specialists in the area, our sports medicine team offers specialized, post-injury care that allows athletes to return to play and normal activities as quickly and safely as possible.

Dr. Cordas and our sports medicine team can also work with your primary care provider to address other medical problems that can affect athletic performance such as asthma, high blood pressure and diabetes.

The use of ImPACT™ neurocognitive testing, comprehensive physician evaluation and input from all medical providers involved in the care of the concussed athlete are factored in when determining the plan of care and return to play. The safety of the athlete is the priority when dealing with concussions. We are a Credentialed ImPACT™ Consultant (CIC), and our staff has undergone specialized ImPACT™ training to offer state-of-the-art concussion care management to our patients.
