Specialized treatment OptionsOur comprehensive sports medicine program offers high-quality care that will get your child back on the field and ready to play. Sports-related injuries we treat include:

• Concussions • Sprains and strains • Fractures (broken bones) • Ligament and cartilage injuries • Overuse injuries • Contusions

Dr. Cordas and our sports medicine team can also work with your primary care provider to address other medical problems that can affect athletic performance such as asthma, high blood pressure and diabetes.

experts in Concussion managementThe PinnacleHealth Sports Medicine Center uses a comprehensive approach to concussion management. The use of ImPACT™ neurocognitive testing, comprehensive physician evaluation and input from all medical providers involved in the care of the concussed athlete are factored in when determining the plan of care and return to play. The safety of the athlete is the priority when dealing with concussions. We are a Credentialed ImPACT™ Consultant (CIC), and our staff has undergone specialized ImPACT™ training to offer state-of-the-art concussion care management to our patients.
