Hemorrhoids are clusters of veins in the anus, just under the membrane that lines the lowest part of the rectum and anus. Symptoms of hemorrhoids include fissures, fistulae, abscesses, or irritation and itching. Hemorrhoids can bleed after a bowel movement and can be very painful, inconvenient, and embarrass-ing. Millions suffer from the annoying itching, pain and bleeding of hemorrhoids, which may result in debilitating pain and life-threatening infection

Medcations for treating hemorrhoids are partially effec-tive and they include: local anesthetics, vasoconstrictors, protectants, astringents, antiseptics and steroids.

Hemerine® offers a safe and natural treatment for annoying hemorrhoids. It’s based on a scientific for-mula, enriched with anti inflammatory, antibacterial and vasoconstriction effects. Hemerine® alleviates the symptoms of irritation, pain, itching, and reduces the swelling and tissue damage.

Cream Composition: Pistacia Lentiscus, Citrus Medica Limon Oil, Citric Acid, Saponaria Officinalia Extract, Olive Oil, Nigella Sativa Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkil (Shea Butter) Oil, Aloe Barbaden-sis Leaf Extract, Triticum Vulgare Wheat Germ Oil, Salicylic Acid, Candelilla Wax Hydrocarbons, Phenoxyethanol, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sorbitol, Ricinus Communis Castor Oil, Ceteryl Alco-hol and Deionized Water. Capsule Composition: Ruscus aculeatus roots, Nigella Sativa seeds, Tricalciumphosphate (TCP) and Vitamin E.

Indications.

Mild to severe Hemorrhoids.

Actions.

Astringent and vein constrictor.Anti-inflammatory.Antibacterial.Soothing.

What is so special about Hemerine®?

Strengthens and tones vein ►walls, promotes vein elasticity and supports micro vascular circulation. Possess a natural vasoconstric- ►tion activity and ability to stimulate the alpha-adrenergic receptors and promote constriction of the blood ves-sels.This results in reduced inflammation and swelling of the engorged blood vessels

and relief of itching, discomfort and irritation.Possess a natural astringent and ability to coagu- ►late the proteins in surface skin cells, which results in decreased cellular volume and leaves a thin layer protecting underlying tissue. In addition, it decreases mucus and other secretions in order to decrease inflammation and irritation.

Scientific data:

1. Cytotoxicity and Cell Viability Tests:

LDH test-

Measuring the integrity of the cellular plasma •membrane as reflected by the release of lactate dehydrogenase enzyme (LDH) from cells. LDH release indicates plasma membrane rupture and

cellular damage.

Exposure of human hepatocytes •(HepG2) to increasing concentrations

of Hemerine® extract did not affect LDH release from the cells as com-pared to controls.

The basal release of LDH •from control cells was not statisti-cally different from treated cells.

This assures plasma membrane in-tegrity during incubation of the cells

with the extract. Human hepatocytes (HepG2) exposed to Hemerine® extract

continued to grow normally and did not ex-hibit any signs of toxicity.

Vasoconstriction Activity of Hemerine® extract was performed using intestine blood vessel rings in or-gan bath system. The vessels ring were exposed to increase concentrations of phenylephrine with or with-out Hemerine® 10 mg/ ml extract. As shown in fig-3. Hemerine® extract increased significantly the blood vessel contraction caused by phenylephrine.

Conclusion:

Hemerine® product has synergistic effects which is highly and uniquely effective. It combines scientifically proven anti-inflammatory effects against the symptoms of irritation, pain and itching, proven treatment of local immune reactions and vein relaxation, combined with classical astringent and antimicrobial properties to re-duce the swelling and tissue damage. Hemerine® offers a safe and natural treatment for annoying hemor-rhoids.

2. Anti-inflammatory Activity of Hemerine® :Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is a major cell wall compo-nent of Gram-negative bacteria and its signaling in mac-rophages induces the production of pro-inflammatory molecules such as nitric oxide (NO).

As indicated in Fig 1, Hemerine®(10μg/ml)significant-ly inhibited LPS-induced NO production, in macrophage-like THP-1 cells. This observation suggests that Hemer-ine® displayed a strong anti-inflammatory effect and pro-tects against LPS-induced inflammation.

3. Antimicrobial Effect of Hemerine® :

The antimicrobial effect of Hemerine® extract on Ecoli growth was investigated. Clear growth inhibitory effect

were observed as shown in Fig 2. Hemerine® inhibitory effect was 60% of that obtained by ampicillin.
