What is HemoZel Suppositories?
A natural product endorsed by a clinical study,

It is a natural shrub that grows in humid or
boggy forests with warm temperatures,
originally from Virginia, United States. Also
known as Witch Hazel.
Due to its astringent action, it promotes
healing and acts as an anti-inflammatory and
anti-hemorrhagic.
It is also accredited with venotonic,
vasoprotectives, moisturizing, diuretic,
antioxidant, antiseptic and bactericidal
virtues.
Menthol
It is a saturated secondary alcohol, found in the oils of some
mint species, native to the Mediterranean.
Menthol stands out for its analgesic, anti-irritant and
refreshing properties, reducing pain and providing a feeling
of well-being.
Clinical study
In Herbresearch2, Tussenhausen-Mattsies, Germany and the University of
Petra, Amman, Jordan, a clinical study was conducted on the efficiency of
the ingredients Hamamelis Virginiana and Menthol for the treatment of
Hemorrhoids.
Clinical study
The study preparation consisted of Suppositories composed of
400mg Dry leaf extract of Hamamelis Virginiana L., extraction
solvent 30% Ethanol m/m and 25 mg of Menthol in a matrix of hard
fat. Suppositories were applied twice a day.
It was performed in patients between 33-58 years old, that
presented chronic Hemorrhoids, measuring during the
symptomatology trial such as rectal bleeding, constipation, mass
sensation, burning, itching, edema, and anal discomfort.
After 8 days of treatment, a 98.8% reduction in the symptoms was
observed with respect to the initial value, without adverse reactions.
