Dreamline

Dreamline satisfies the needs of competitive bowlers and the social player alike. It is ideally suited for medium to fast greens. A flatter profile and narrower width provides the bowler with more comfort and control of the bowl.

Classic/Classic II Series C

Classic Series CThe Classic ll is the original narrow biased bowl. This narrow version has less bias than the original “Classic” model. Manufactured with a traditional classic bias for bowlers who play on all types of greens & require above all a consistent draw.

The Classic II with it’s midstrength bias is well suited to slower green speeds of 11 to 13 seconds.

The bowl also performs well on the faster indoor carpet greens in the United Kingdom.

Distinctive finish commonly referred to as a “hockey stick” finish recognised for it’s ability to draw around cluttered heads.

Tiger

The Tiger is a full biased model, that was developed because of the increasing need for a model that suits play on slower greens, whilst possessing a modern direct finish.

The Tiger will suit both the competitive player and the more socially orientated players that are exposed to greens that run in the slower speed range. Due to the Ergo Profile the Tiger is appealing to new and existing bowlers who require improved control of delivery.

A very stable, full bias bowl.

Tiger II

The Tiger II is the third member of the Ergo family of bowls, complimenting the very successful Dreamline and Tiger models.

“ There is a growing trend in may regions to a slightly wider bias, providing added stability. The Tiger II is a perfect example, a truly mid biased model, that will suit the player looking for a multi purpose set of bowls. The Tiger II is a contemporary design of bowl with a gentle and predictable trajectory, it is the widest drawing of the “narrow” biased bowls currently available. It is highly suited to second’s, thirds and skips as they require a bowl that has a relatively strong finish to draw around short bowls in the head.

A mid bias bowl offering both the experienced and new bowlers alike, the greatest potential range of shots.

The Tiger II has a similar shape and trajectory to the Dreamline, however the additional bias provides greater stability in adverse conditions.

The most demanded indoor model by elite players in the UK, is now proving the ideal crossover model as a mid bias outdoor bowl.

The “Ergo” profile has been designed with narrower shoulders, the benefit is to provide the user even greater control when delivering the bowl. It can also allow the use of a larger size bowl than would normally be used.

Designed for the competition bowler, the ‘ABT-evo’ is the choice for those that play to win. This traditional full fit shape allows consistant performance on fast greens. The ‘Evo’ has a narrow finish, but with enough flexibility and control for all requirements.

The demands of today’s advanced bowlers, are met with another proven model in the Dreamline. With increased comfort in the hand, a flat finish, this bowls stability on fast free running greens make it an obvious choice for Club, State and National level bowlers.

A highly respected model in the competitive indoor environment in the UK, the Tiger II is now establishing itself as a perfect ‘mid bias’ bowl on a variety of outdoor greens, from as far a field as South Africa and New Zealand

The narrow version of the Original Classic model the Classic II, has a distinctive hook finish, this model has introduced more people to the modern game than any other and is still the most popular bowl of the modern era, suitable for a wide variety of conditions.

The Tiger is a fully biased model, which is designed with a more contemporary finish than the legendary Classic, it has a gentle finish ‘less hook’ Thus making the Tiger a perfect choice for the modern style of play for on slower greens

The facility allows for a number of type faces, sizes of lettering and information layout options.

Care of your Bowls

New sets of Henselite Bowls are perfectly matched sets of four bowls in weight and bias and each bowl is guaranteed for 10 years against cracking or breaking from the date of manufacture. This may be related to the World Bowls Stamp Number located on each set or from the date on the purchase receipt.

The Henselite 10 year guarantee does NOT cover:

Chipping – caused through contact with sharp objects.1.

Burnishing – (pitting) caused by impact of bowls in the presence 2. of sand and moisture.

Scratching – caused by regular use on sand filled grass or 3. synthetic greens.

The bias of Lawn Bowls may be effected by wear and it is recommended 4. that your bowls be re-tested at approximately three year intervals to ensure compliance with World Bowls Ltd regulations.

Coloured bowls - It is possible a variation in colour may occur due to 5. Ultra Violet exposure, such changes are not covered by guarantee.

Bowls leave the factory in a highly polished condition and with good care this lustre may be retained on Henselite bowls for many years by noting the following hints:

Sand, grit etc. has an abrasive effect on bowls. Wipe your bowls after 1. use before placing them in your case or bag.

Ensure the bottom of your bowls case or bag is free of sand or grit and 2. place bowls so they ride on the running surface – not the engraving.

Regularly polish your bowls with Grippo (for details refer to pg 28)3. using a Henselite polishing cloth or sleeve;

If too much bowls polish accumulates on bowls, wash bowls in hot 4. water with soap or mild detergent – dry and polish.

New, highly polished bowls will always show slight scratch marks on 5. the running surface after use, particularly if greens have been recently top-dressed. These “scratch” marks in no way affect the performance of the bowl (or indicate an ingredient softness) and may usually be polished out or lightly rubbed with fine steel wool and then polished.

In some areas, the sand or top dressing used on the greens is a sharp, 6. abrasive, granite-type sand and bowls will scratch or wear more readily but again, the performance of the bowl is not affected providing the wear on the running surface is even.

If you regularly use two or three bowls, rotate the four bowls in your 7. set to ensure any wear is evenly distributed (It takes only minimal wear for the bias to be affected, this ensures your bowls remain matched for bias).

Coloured bowls may mark easily from ditch contact and general play, 8. clean your bowls gently by washing with a mild detergent.
