Please note: Both the outdoor** and indoor* pools have a capacity limit for the health and safety of pool users and at busy times we are obliged to restrict entry. The outdoor pool is usually heated from Spring Bank Holiday to August Bank Holiday unless poor weather conditions prevail. The Oasis is open to the public and during busy times the indoor pool operates session times. Use of the �umes is restricted to competent swimmers and those over 1m in height. The indoor pool has a small admission charge, the outdoor pool is free to guests.

So much safe and splashy fun you’ll never want to get out of the indoor* pools. Three water flumes, the fast and furious high speed aqua whizz flume, the wet and wild 265ft super flume and the gentle fun slide, plus river rapids, a geyser, waterfall and fountains, you can’t get any wetter. For those who prefer not to get wet there are lots of loungers and deckchairs to relax on whilst the family enjoy themselves!

The Pirates Den soft play area is a must for tiny tots and there are activities for the under 6’s too, with face painting, craft activities and loads of fun, not forgetting the evening party dances and hugs with Henry or Henrietta Hippo! New Play Park for 2013!

There are events and competitions daily, ideal for burning all that holiday energy! The rest of the family are welcome too, with so much to engage all ages. The Club offers superb entertainment every evening including the best cabaret, show bands, comedians, vocalists, illusionists, magicians, hypnotists, and variety acts all live on stage! Get your seats early so you don’t miss a second of the fun, and get ready to take part too... there’ll be lots of audience participation!

The children start the evening with party dances and activities with Henry or Henrietta Hippo. Then Hendra’s ‘Entz’ team warm things up with family game shows, competitions and prize bingo – no holiday is complete without them!

Theme nights and fancy dress are always a favourite at Hendra so don’t forget to bring your favourite fancy dress outfit – or call us before you leave home to find out the costume themes for the time you are staying. After the evenings star cabaret you can then dance the rest of the night away!

For a place to settle in for the evening without all the razzamatazz, enjoy a drink in the Tavern Bar, or the Tavern Terrace overlooking the pools with its patio heaters and contemporary styling. Mario’s Pizzeria bar and terrace is also a great place to relax with a drink, and during main season you’ll find laid-back entertainment provided by local guitarists and musicians.

Children of all ages are permitted in the cabaret club, but please note that the entertainment is more suited for adults after 9.00pm. Pushchairs and prams are restricted to certain areas.

Fish and Chips – there’s nothing like fish and chips especially on a seaside holiday, and at Hendra we have our own traditional fish and chip takeaway - everyone’s favourite! Open daily it’s located next to Mario’s and shares the sheltered terrace outside for ‘al fresco’ dining.

Award-winning facilities… and acres of spaces across twelve fields whether you love being close to the action or in a more tranquil location, there’s a pitch to suit you!

Superb Pitches… with terracing and good drainage, and a choice of electric hook-up, serviced and hard-standing options. There are award-winning toilet and shower facilities, proper roads, extra parking space and excellent lighting. Plus water, waste, and recycling points throughout the landscaped park, and family-friendly car-free fields too.

Four legged campers will enjoy their stay too, with a dog walking area and specific pitches for owners! There are acres of countryside to explore and many beaches welcome dogs too!

NEW for 2013; The Hendra Pods, now available in family size! Camping pods are more popular than ever and these spacious wooden ‘tents’ are designed to offer more privacy and security than canvas, and the outside decking provides a great dining and cooking space. The Pods are completely empty on arrival; just bring all your camping kit minus the tent. Both sizes have plenty of headroom, with one, ideal for two adults or a family with a small child, a generous 2.5m wide by 3m deep, and the new family pods, an enormous 4m wide by 2.4m deep, accommodating two adults and two children. They are all equipped with electric light, sockets and heater plus a glazed door, window, vinyl flooring, and fully insulated walls and floor.

We welcome most breeds of dog at Hendra but don’t forget to include them on your booking form, as the pitches where we allow dogs are limited. We provide a dog walking area on the park and there are miles of lovely countryside for daily walkies with your pet! Please note that dogs must be kept on leads in public areas and are not permitted on our Grand Premium or Super pitches.

Our caravans are set in acres of landscape parkland, some with car parking adjacent and some in car free fields with car parking close by. Looking after our environment is as important as looking after our guests so we are proud of achieving many ‘green’ environmental accolades including a Gold Bellamy Award, a Sustainable Tourism Award and, more recently, ‘Best Large Business’ in Cornwall’s Sustainable Business awards, (including Winner of Winners!) and the Britain in Bloom Commercial Award from the Royal Horticultural Society.

Our biggest achievement was, in 2011, building the Sun Power Meadow, a ten acre 1.5mw solar farm which provides up to 70% of Hendra’s own power needs – the equivalent of 325 domestic homes! To date we have also implemented 24 environmental initiatives that together save hundreds of tonnes of CO2 annually. As well as recycling facilities we have put in place measures to reduce light pollution and save water and energy. You can even charge your electric vehicle at Hendra for free!
