Why wash your hands?In the strictest sense of the word, viruses aren’t technically alive. They need to invade hosts such as a human cell to manufacture themselves. They are however hardy enough to remain active outside of a host - on the surfaces we touch. Studies are still being completed to determine exactly how long COVID-19 can live on a surface, though some studies on similar viruses, SARS and MERS, have suggested the virus can live on metal, glass and plastic for up to 9 days unless they are properly disinfected (28 days in the right temperature). FFP1 masks are made of a fabric designed to filter air or impurities. FFP2 is the next level up - it is widely accepted by industry that the N95 is comparable to an FFP2. For example: our non-medical Hygiplas thermometer is used in the food industry and is a fast and contactless measurement solution, with a temperature range of 50° to +400°C, it can provide a good indication of a fever. While our medical grade thermometer has a measuring range for the human body of 32.0°C~42.9°C and has an accuracy ±0.2°C. It has a fever warning beeper and can store up to 10 readings.
