Garden Ceremony

Our tropical gardens provide a delightful setting for any size outdoor ceremony. These gardens are beautifully presented and maintained all year round. Your red carpet leading to the registration table is set amidst these lovely gardens.

Chapel Ceremony

Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise offers a very special venue for your wedding ceremony. Our Chapel, set amidst beautifully landscaped gardens, offers the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony. The surrounding gardens provide a delightful backdrop for your wedding photographs.

The Chapel is beautifully adorned with timber furnishings and marble, providing a traditional touch. Ready for use, it comes complete with two silk flower arrangements, pew decorations and red carpet.

The Chapel pews allow seating for 50 guests and there is standing room for an additional 50 guests.

Introducing Executive Chef Jean-Marc. Beginning his culinary career 43 years ago at La Sole Normande, a small seafood restaurant south of Paris, Jean-Marc has worked across the globe from a Michelin Star restaurant to prestigious hotels, and now calls the Gold Coast home.

Jean-Marc is passionate about two things: food and your wedding.

THE MONTH BEFORENot long to go now and it’s time to kick off the celebrations with a hens or bucks party with all your favourites! From a high tea in the Gold Coast’s only revolving restaurant Four Winds 360° to a wine and cheese tasting in Balthazar Wine & Dining, Crowne Plaza has all your pre-wedding party needs covered. Arriving to the hotel the day before the wedding eliminates the stress of getting ready offsite and we will ensure a comfortable night sleep to have you well-rested for the MAIN EVENT. I have booked an outdoor ceremony, what happens if it rains?Should you choose an outdoor ceremony on the lawn, we will also book our chapel as your wet weather back up.

Can I have a rehearsal?Complimentary use of the chapel for your rehearsal is available. Times are subject to availability.

Do I need to arrange someone to play the music at the ceremony?Yes, usually your celebrant will bring suitable musicfor the ceremony and should have their own PA system. Please confirm with your celebrant at time of making your booking.

Can I design my own menu?You may choose to offer suggestions or request to theme your menu such as degustation, Indian or French for example.

Our Wedding Specialist and team of international chefs can assist you to design the perfect menu. Additional charges may apply.

When do I need to advise final numbers?Final numbers is required 7 days prior to the wedding date. Full payment is required a minimum of 30 days out from the wedding date.

How much is car parking for my guests?Casual carparking rates apply. Please refer to the hotels website for more information:www.crowneplazasurfersparadise.com.au/facilities/hotel-services/

Is there a child minding service at the hotel?We recommend you contact Coastal Babysitters. Please refer to https://coastalbabysitters.com.au/

My Photographer requires a meal, how much is it?A meal can be arranged for your suppliers for $40 each.

What time can I access the reception room?Your Wedding Specialist will be available on the day to put out your place cards, favours and set up anything you require in the reception room or ceremony venue.

Access times cannot be confirmed until one week prior to the reception.

What time does our event have to finish?All functions must conclude by midnight and noise restrictions will apply to outdoor venues from 10.30pm onwards.

Do you charge surcharges on Public Holidays?Yes we charge 15% surcharge to all events held onPublic Holidays.

Can we have a menu tasting?Menu tastings are available for plated options only. Charged at $175 per couple the menu tasting includes 2 entrees, 2 main courses and 2 desserts and in addition a glass each of the white wine, red wine and sparkling wine included in your package.

Do you cater for special dietary requests?Yes, but please note: dietary requirements must be advised by the event organiser seven (7) days prior to the commencement of the event.

Can the DJ be my MC?The DJ can MC your wedding for an additional fee. Alternately you can ask a family member or friend and the reception supervisor will assist them on the night.

Do you offer a discount on accommodation for our guests?Special rates are made available to all wedding guests for all room types. Your Wedding Specialist will send a unique web link prior to your wedding date. Please include this link with your invites.

What time is check in/check out?3pm for check in and 11am for check out. This is flexible for wedding guests and is subject to availability.
