The Great Barrier Reef is a Australian heritage site. The Great Barrier Reef is off the east coast of Queensland. The Great Barrier Reef stretches over to 1,235 miles. The year it was designated was in 1981. The Barrier Reef is the biggest structure built on earth by living organisms.

The Great Barrier Reef is a world heritage because the coral reef system is one of the biologically diverse places on the planet it is also the richest areas in terms of biological diversity.

• This waterfall is among the most impressive to be found anywhere in the world. It was designated in 1989.

• Victoria Falls is in Zambia and Zimbabwe and is 1.25 miles wide which is 2 kilometres.

• The falls generate mists that can be spotted from more than 12 miles which is (20 kilometres) away.

• Ayers rock is 208 miles long which is 335 kilometres. This is an aboriginal land mark and is found in the southern part of the Northern territory , central Australia.

Uluru (Ayers rock ) is one of Australia's most recognisable natural land marks. On the 15 December 1993 it was renamed “(Ayers Rock/Uluru)”and became the duel named feature in the Northern Territory.

• Easter Island is famous for its 887 extant monumental statues called moai created by the early Rapanui people. Easter island claimed to be the most remote inhabited island in the world.

• Easter Island is 24.6km which is 12.3km. The name Easter Island was given by the first recorded European. In recent times the island has served as a warning of the cultural and environmental dangers of overexploitation.
