• Using the guitar or keyboard, we are going to compose a hero theme using the C Major scale

• A scale is any set of musical notes ordered by fundamental frequency or pitch.

Preparing a composition

1. Think of a superhero and list three characteristics

2. Your composition will be high pitched, fast and forte.

3. Think of your melody, draw the shape of your melody.

4. Your composition will start and end on C

5. Notate composition. It is to be 8 bars in length
