What is Heroin?

• Heroin is made from the Resin of Poppy plants. A milky sap-like liquid Opium is removed from the pod of the poppy flower, which is how you get Morphine. The Morphine makes the different types of heroin.

• Heroin is Illegal and appears #1 under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) because it doesn’t serve any medical purpose in the US.
