The prayer ministry of our congregation is a large net-work of ministers, staff and laity partnering together in response to specific prayer requests. Requests may be made by completing a prayer card located in the pew rack,

calling the church office or sending infor-mation to our e-mail prayer group. Infor-mation is transmitted via e-mail and later compiled weekly for the Monday Morning Prayer Group.

If you have loved ones serving in the military, please con-tact the church office so they can be added to this list.

E-prayer is a vital part of our churches' prayer life. It is the fastest way for the church to relay concerns to the membership. There are currently 142 members who re-ceive e-prayer. If you are one of those members and you have not received an e-prayer request or update in the past 2 weeks please let someone know that you are not re-ceiving the mail. We have known of the computers to fail us from time to time. If you would like to be more con-nected to the churches' prayer life or you have a prayer concern contact the church, Sue Herring 776-7964 or Ruth Smith 772-6234.

Nurture Committee Hospital Bags The Nurture Committee delivers hospital bags to members who are in the hospital. This is a growing ministry that shares the love of our church family. Please let us know if

you or a loved one is in the hospital so we can nurture you! If you would like to provide personal care items to go into our bags you may drop them off to the church office. Contact Ruth Smith for information, 772-6234.

Thank you all for you donations. We took 26 backpacks to Mission Waco this week from our church.

We are working on forming a group of people who would

be willing to help out with children at Provident Heights

Elementary. We would tutor or help in some way once a

week. We will be tutoring K, 1st, and 2nd children and be

helping with UIL and a special program for 5th grade boys

and girls. Men and women are needed for this pro-

ject. There will be sign-up sheets in the welcome center

for tutoring at Providence Heights starting this Sunday.
