our website as well. School Uniform Policy- All students should be in complete fall/winter uniform on October15th. On October 18th- HFS will wear PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness. All donations will be sentto the National Breast Cancer Foundation. All students are asked to wear pink and donate $5to this cause. On October 31st, children in grades PK-5 may come to school dressed in their HalloweenCostumes. Grades 6-8 can change into their costumes after lunch. Students will participate ina parade around the block and then resume in the cafeteria for a party. NO MASKS ORWEAPONS. I kindly ask that that parents communicate with their child's teacher if a costumeis in question. Please be mindful that we are a Catholic School and costumes should not beoffensive, revealing, or distasteful. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in thismatter. We want the event to be fun for ALL! Any candy donations, store bought baked goods,juice boxes, and chips are greatly appreciated and will be collected the week of October 21st.Please remember we are a peanut free school. Arrival Procedures:

Please drop off students (K-8) in the parking lot where the students will enter through thecafeteria doors which will be open from 8:10am-8:25am. Any child arriving to school after8:25 am must enter through the main doors on Mount Joy Place.PreK Students should be dropped off through the side doors of the main entrance of theschool building on Mount Joy Place at 8:30am

Dismissal Procedures for the School Year:

Pre-K students will be dismissed through the side doors of the main entrance of theschool building on Mount Joy Place.K-5 will be dismissed through the cafeteria doors which lead to the parking lot at 2:45 pmand Grades 6-8 are dismissed at 2:55 pm.

All students in K-8 must be in their classrooms each day ready to learn no later than 8:30 amready to begin their day. Daily prayers and announcements will take place at 8:40 am each day. Lunch Services- This year will continue to use Preferred Catering. All orders must be placed byWednesday 11:59 pm of the week prior. If you did not place an order this week, please notethat you will need to pack a lunch for the �rst two days of school. FIRST FRIDAY MASS/CHOIRPlease join us at our First Friday Mass on October 4th at 8:30 am. We encourage all thestudents who like to sing to join our school choir. The choir sings at school masses, holidayevents, and other events throughout the year. Come have fun learning how to read music andlearning how to sing with a group. There is no cost associated with Choir. This is a year roundclub that meets on Fridays from 2:45 pm-3:45 pm. Fr. Patrick would also like to train students to be altar servers. If your child has received theSacrament of First Holy Communion and would like to be considered. Please email yourchild's teacher directly by next Friday.
