    1.2.2 Characterisation of powder densificationThe determination of the densification behaviour of a powder is usually based on the

    measurement of the relative density of the powder bed as a function of the pressure

    necessary to obtain that relative density. Table 1.2 shows an overview of relationsused to describe the effect of the pressure on the degree of densification.
