I hope that the reason you have arrived at this point is because my images stirred up some wonderful emotions in you that resonated with your taste and personality.

Believe me when I say this - photography is my passion! I mean it. I live and breathe it. I am especially passionate about documenting the personality of a wedding. The moments, as I call them. The beautiful day as it happens, showing the emotion, fun, happiness and love that are unique to each couple that I shoot. I do not want your photographs to look like the ones I have shot before. Yes, they will have my style, but I want each wedding to be completely unique and to bring all the characters of the day to life in the photos that I take.

I enjoy capturing moments with the two of you alone. Catching the love and emotion between you both. That is my goal. As much as a picture can be beautifully shot, I feel if the emotion is not there, it doesn’t work for me. Short, relaxed portrait sessions of the two of you just being you are what I am all about.

When we first saw Dena’s portfolio we were both struck by the naturalness and warm emotions that she captures in her photography and immediately decided that she was the photographer for our wedding. When we met in our local coffee shop to discuss the packages on offer Dena made everything simple. The Engagement Shoot was a great way to break the ice, especially if the concept of a camera pointed at you is a bit daunting like it is for us – we brought the dog, we had a laugh, and have some wonderful family photos. The day of the wedding was a whirlwind of excitement, but the photos Dena captured are timeless memories of precious moments. InformationAlbums These days it is wonderful that we get to have so many images to keep on hard drives and various forms of electrical storage. That is great, but how often will you open up your computer and go through your images? After investing in a photographer to shoot every aspect of your wedding day, your beautiful images are now just kept in a file on your computer that you may hardly look at. Will you ever get around to printing them??

Albums are important, probably the best investment of your wedding day that you will make. Imagine opening this beautiful box, in it lies an expertly crafted book with your names etched on the front. You open each crisp page to view your beautiful images and relive the day all over again. Sitting together, touching each page, going slowly over each of your favorite photographs. Each year, as you get older and when the children start to grow, you show them what a magical day that was. Second Shooter

If you have a wedding with over 200 people it is wise to consider a second shooter. As much as I aspire to be a superhuman, photographer extraordinaire it is simply impossible for me to capture all your guests at this capacity. The second shooter is an experienced photographer. They are carefully chosen to match my style and extremely trusted by me as a great artist and personality. They also help me to capture more magical moments throughout the day.

Engagement Shoot Get excited about this, it really is so much fun! We choose a cool location, head off, walk around, chat away and shoot when the time is right. It is relaxed, super easy and a perfect way for us to get to know each other. You get a feel for how I will be shooting before the big day, which means the nerves are gone on the wedding day and you get an extra set of photographs that will be invaluable to you in years to come.

Travel and Expenses

Travel expenses around Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland are included in all the package prices.

Anywhere outside of The Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, the travel cost to get to location as well as adequate days of stay in accommodation will be added on to the above package prices.

My husband and I were so lucky to have Dena take the photographs of our wedding in June. Dena is incredibly talented and took amazing shots of my husband and I, as well as our families. She really captured the mood and even though I didn’t have a videographer the photographs told the story of our wedding day. Dena is such a professional and I couldn’t have chosen a nicer person to spend the day with our families. I would completely recommend the engagement photo shoot which was part of our package and was such a good way to get us ready for our wedding photos. The quality of the photos are first class and I couldn’t believe that they were of me. I would 100% recommend Dena for your wedding photographs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Creating moments that last forever.

How many images do we get?Depending on the package you choose you can expect to receive anything from 400-800 images (sometimes more, especially if you have a second shooter).

Are the images watermarked?No! All the edited images you receive are yours. They are hi-resolution, unmarked images.

When will my photographs be ready?Within 4 weeks of your wedding date.

When will my album be ready?Once you have chosen your images and have approved the album layout, your album should be ready within 6 weeks of my sending off to print. Bear in mind, in the run up to Christmas this will be longer.

Can you photoshop us to make us look skinnier, have clear skin etc?I can edit skin to look smoother and reduce a few lines on the face. I do not photoshop people to completely alter their appearance as this is not what I am about. I also do not photoshop people out of photographs and put others in. If you really would like this work done to certain photographs I would suggest I outsource a professional editor and charges will be applied.

We meet for our engagement shoot, have some fun and frolics and for the rest of our time liaising together we have a grand old time.

From the moment we sat down with Dena, we knew that she was the perfect photographer for our wedding. We wanted her to capture the moments as they unfolded rather than staged photographs.
