Polymer concrete is a plastic resin-based material with the following outstanding properties: It has low porosity, is impermeable to water and characterised by its high strength and low weight and also has excellent resistance to weather and temperature influences.

The drainage system in monolithic construction

The SL-Block is a drainage system in which both the channel and cover are manufactured in a single casting. The SL-Block is produced homogeneously in polymer concrete. This base material provides maximum bearing capacity and long-lasting durability. In addition, the material's low weight makes the SL-Block easy to install. The SL-Block also conforms to all load classes of DIN EN 1433. The system is suitable for LAU systems, with approval by DIBt (Approval no. Z-74.4-102).

The advantages at a glance

Everything from a single castingThe monolithic construction guarantees the advantage that there are no adhesive bonds or small parts. That also means none of the parts can loosen!

High bearing capacityWith the homogeneous casting, the systems also offer an extremely high bearing capacity. Polymer concrete is a permanently durable and sustainable material.

Low weightPolymer concrete products have a substantially lower weight than equivalent concrete products. This saves costs during transport and installation.

Easy to cleanWith the special formation of the bed, the self-cleaning effect of the channel is increased and the load-bearing capacity of the channel body is improved.

Resistant to frost, road salt and chemicalsPolymer concrete is water-resistant based on its plastic resin components and thus has proven resistance to frost, road salt and chemicals.
