Section 2Description

See Figure 2-1.

The High Output Pro-Meter gear metering pump is designed to deliverand meter pressurized materials.

A bulk unloader pump supplies material to the inlet manifold of the highpressure, positive-displacement gear pump. The gear pump is poweredby a motor and is driven by a speed reducer. The speed reducer usesthe motor input to increase the torque and decrease the speed. Atachometer ring monitors motor speed; material flow can be determinedfrom the motor speed.

The gear pump package is used with a system controller. The systemcontroller may vary depending on the application. Adjustments at thesystem controller enclosure can be used to change the motor speed andaffect the desired pump flow rate. For information on the systemcontroller, refer to the appropriate system controller manual.
