High-Performance Wear Materials For Abrasive Environment Applications Copps Armor Plate TM epoxy compounds are VOC-free and BGE1-free, two-component systems designed to resist wear in a variety of abrasive and corrosive industrial environments. The Armor Plate products are used extensively to repair corroded, cracked, or worn parts to original dimensions and like-new condition. UNSURPASSED HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS Continuously improved formulations are easy to mix and apply in the field. With reduced “stickiness” and internal friction, Armor Plate epoxies offer the right consistency for your application. One trial will demonstrate Armor Plate’s superior handling characteristics and functional advantages. The Armor Plate family is trowelable and suitable for use in vertical, overhead, and circular applications without the worry of sagging, dripping or collapse. The steel filled products are machinable, tappable, and paintable. The Armor Plate systems offer a wide range of curing speeds and service temperatures. CHEMICAL AND ABRASION RESISTANCE Immersion tests in various acidic, corrosive and workplace chemicals have proven the superior performance of the Armor Plate products. Specially designed for harsh abrasive applications, the Armor Plates protect your equipment from erosive-corrosive damage. The guide on the rear cover depicts the extensive chemical resistance these products offer. 1Butyl Glycidyl Ether – The EPA (SARA Title III, Section 312) lists BGE as “Toxic” (per ANSI Z129.1) by skin absorption and an immediate health hazard.
