We have been receiving the enormous benefits by the solar energy.
Many studies are done and continuously made on effective application of solar energy.
Among all, the study of solar cells has already been put to practical use as a clean energy source
in the world.
Our device radiates artificial light which is similar to the sunlight.
The characteristic evaluation of solar cells and other samples can be easily made by applying
this artificial light to those test samples.
Xenon short arc lamp developed here at WACOM ELECTRIC CO., LTD is used as a light source in
our irradiation equipments, which enables the best performance with other optical parts.
Additionally, using the special optical filter and lens makes it possible to produce more natural,
optimized artificial light which is very similar to the sunlight.
Irradiation of stable light is realized by adapting light stabilizing circuit.
WACOM has devoted its 40 years of experiences to development of high quality devices.
With all the experiences and efforts, we proudly provide reliable solar simulators.
Our devices are widely used at not only solar cell studying laboratories/manufacturers but also

sample stage.
This Simulator meets regulations in conformity with JIS C8912、JIS C8933、IEC 60904-9.
The basic spec is AM1.5G specifications. AM 0 is also available for measuring space solar potential.

Long Pulse Solar simulatorLong Pulse Solar Simulator has been developed for PV module qualification.
Enhancing the pulse of light source enabled wider irradiation on large area.
The pulse duration can be adjusted between 80 msec ~ 800 msec for PV module qualification.

Broad Band Super Solar Simulator I-V Measuring System
This high precious spectrum gives you stable and high reliable evaluation result on crystalline silicon, compounds, multi-junction or other high efficient PV cell.
SPECTRAL DATA
This is the system for measuring I-V characteristics (current and voltage) PV cells and modules, it can also output I-V curve data.
This system consist of bias supply, I-V tester (AD converter), digital thermometer and a control computer (including specialized software and a printer).
Measurement Items: Voc (Open circuit voltage), Pm (Maximum power), Ipm (Current at Pm) Vpm (Voltage at Pm), Eff (Efficiency).
Simultaneous measurement for monitor cell (2 channel type)With modules are also available.
