Students in Mrs. Libby Springer’s and Mrs. JulieMoore’s 4th grade classes enjoyed a recent Readingstory from their textbook and they enjoyed learningabout Yosemite National Park! The students weredivided into small groups to do research about the park. Then they made posters outlining some of the factsthey learned. To conclude, they presented theirresearch to the com-

bined classes. This was a great reading lesson as thestudents learned the material but they also worked ontheir research skills, learned how to work in groups andultimately worked on their presentation skills! Theseare all skills the students will continue to work on notonly this year, but in the years ahead!

In the past year, Heritage has received almost $25,000 from Kroger! Thanksto our grandparents, faculty, staff and parents for using their Kroger Cards!!
