High School Students:Here’s A Great Opportunity to Tour a Modern Manufacturing Facility(and Ask Questions)
Students from Oakland County technical campuses and high schools have a great opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at what today’s engineers, technicians and other staff do each day at advanced manufacturing facilities throughout the region and not far from home.
During this fourth annual Oakland County Manufacturing Day, companies of all sizes will open their doors to provide a close look at their design labs, testing centers and manufacturing operations. You, along with your teachers and counselors, can hear directly from working professionals about what they love to do and the skills required to get there.
The goal of Manufacturing Day is to inspire students to explore the broad range of high-paying, fulfilling job opportunities in southeast Michigan and discover if there is a career just right for you.
