Ural Company for Transformer TechnologiesThe UZTT Company is specialized in manufacturing of low-voltage and high-voltage equipment for electrical power supply systems used in industrial and civil construction, agriculture, oil and gas industries, and mining operations.

Since 2000 the UZTT transformer factory for high-voltage equipment has its own manufactur-ing of Package Transformer Substations, transformers and sells its products directly from the factory.

The UZTT manufacturing factory offers the following range of services:

• Designing of KTP substations;• Complete cycle of electrical equipment manufacturing;• Mounting of package transformer substations, electrical installation work, substations

construction and subsequent installation;• Manufacturing of oil-cooled power transformers and other components for substations;• Selling of finished electrical equipment, available and upon request.

Such a full scope of works gives our customers actual opportunity to reduce costs (both finan-cial and temporal) for project implementation as a whole, as it eliminates the need to look for different design, manufacturing and installation companies.

We constantly improve the technological process and search for non-conventional solutions which allow to adapt to changing market conditions. The company is developing new mod-el forms of transformer KTP substations, extending its product lines and equipment power range. Being targeted at market requirements, the factory manufactures 14 varieties of pack-age transformer substations with power of 25 - 2500 kVA, high voltage of 6 kV or 10 kV/ low voltage НН 0,4 kV or 0,23 kV.

All products of the factory are certified and comply with GOST and TU national standards. Prod-ucts go through stringent quality control.

Since July 2008 the UZTT plant has been an official supplier for the Ekaterinburg Electric Grid Company. We offer our regular customers different ways of work: credit on goods, deferred pay-ments, and customer-friendly system of discounts.

YAKNO unit has:

• high switching capacity and reliability of power supply;• increased resistance to impact and vibrational loads.

YAKNO unit provides:

• full explosion and fire safety;• speed of operation;• maintainability.

Electrical schematic diagrams provide opportunity to complete cells with the following types of relay protection:

• maximum current protection with time lag;• maximum current protection of instant action (current cutoff);• maximum overload protection;• ground fault protection;• minimum (maximum) voltage protection;• protection against open-phase mode;• protection against grounding cable conductor breakdown (earth circuit continuity control).

Relay protection can be carried out both on PT40, РТ351 type electromechanical relays, and with use of microprocessor protection units.

EmbodimentThe YAKNO unit is divided by continuous partitions into compartments of:

• disconnector;• high-voltage circuit breaker;• voltage transformer;• control.

The disconnector compartment contains:

• РВФЗ and РВЗ disconnectors;• bushing insulator ИП;• current transformers of ТОЛ-6(10) or ТПГ-6(10) type.

High-voltage circuit breaker compartment contains:

• circuit breaker (vacuum or low-oil-content);• zero-sequence current transformer of ТЗЛН type;• lock mechanism.

Voltage transformer compartment contains:

• voltage transformers such as 3X3НОЛ-6(10), НОЛ-0.8-6(10), НОЛ-11-6(10);• fuses PKN.

Upon customer request the unit can be completed with voltage transformers of НТМН-6(10), НОМ-6(10) type.

Control compartment contains disconnector drives of the ПР-10 type, control panel, control and alarm board, vacuum circuit breaker control unit. Access to compartments, where alive equipment is located when the disconnector is disconnected, is closed by cages with prohibito-ry safety signs on them. The door of the vacuum circuit breaker compartment has the mechan-ical interlock excluding possibility of access to a compartment when the disconnector is on.

FunctionsBy function units are divided into:

• connection gears;• connection gears and lighting;• sectioning gears;• open pit lighting gears;• section units (sectionalizer).

Connection gearIt is intended for connection of electroexcavators, high-voltage engines, power transformers, drill-ing rigs, high-voltage engines of boring machines, drags, compressor and condenser installations and other consumers.

Connection is made to aerial and cable power lines. The unit input to the connected equipment can be both cable, and air.

Connection gear and lightingIt is intended for providing illumination for the working areas and connection of open-pit consum-ers with protection against leakage currents in low-voltage circuits

Sectioning gearIt is intended for sectioning of open-pit and external PTLs, and also provides creation of gears which divide networks of power supply systems and open pits. Represents a unit with air input and air output.

Open pit lighting gearsOpen pit lighting gears is intended for illumination of working areas.

Section units (sectionalizer) Section unit is used as the sectionalizer.
