Short focal lenses dedicated to IR imaging detection

AMS Technologies introduces the fi rst se-ries of short focal lenses dedicated to IR imaging and IR detection.

LightPath Technologies, leading manufac-turer of InfraRed and aspherical optics, has designed and released lenses that com-ply with ULIS uncooled Micro80PTM and Micro80 Gen2TM thermal sensor arrays.

The molded lenses integrate LightPath‘s high-quality chalcogenide glass. They are compatible with wavelengths ranging from 8µm to 14µm and offer a passive ather-malization1 for -40°C to +85°C.

Applications:

• Visual IR thermometers

• Short-range surveillance

• Personal vision systems

• HVAC and lighting management

• Access control

• People counting

• Home appliances

• UAV’s
