Day 1 SINGAPORE 4 MILAN Welcome to Milan. Upon arrival, our Milan sightseeing will bring us to the gothic Milan Duomo, Duomo Square, La Scala Opera House and the 19th century Gallery Victor Emmanuel II. Continue our journey to the Italian Lake District, which lies on the fringe of the snow-capped Alps and shores dotted with charming and romantic villages. MILAN – ITALIAN LAKE DISTRICT: Milan sightseeing (D) Day 2 Orvieto is located in south-western Umbria and situated on the flat summit of volcanic rock surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in Italy. Take the funicular up to the city center with the beautiful gardens of the Albornoz Fortress. Visit the famous Duomo, one of Italy’s grandest examples of Gothic architecture. Then travel to the capital of Italy – Rome, one of the world’s oldest city. We begin our Rome sightseeing with view of The Colosseum. It was built in 72 AD, had seating for 70,000 people and is the biggest amphitheatre built by the Roman Empire. Next we proceed on to Trevi Fountain, the most famous fountain in Rome. Move on to the magnificent St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City, the largest and most renowned church in the world, built on the site where St Peter, the chief apostle, was buried in 64 AD. See Michelangelo’s Pieta, depicting the Virgin Mary holding the body of her son Jesus Christ. Later afternoon, we make our way to the Spanish Steps where you find famous boutiques like Prada, Louis Vuitton, Hermes or enjoy a cup of excellent Italian coffee. (Note: During religious holidays, St. Peter’s Basilica will be closed for visits.) ROME: Rome sightseeing / Vatican City (B/L) Day 8 Bid farewell to Italy today as you are transferred to the airport for your flight home, bringing back fond memories of your holiday with CTC Travel! Day1 SINGAPORE MILAN

Welcome to Milan. Upon arrival, our Milan sightseeing will bring us to the gothic Milan Duomo, Duomo Square, La Scala Opera House and the 19th century Gallery Victor Emmanuel II. Continue our journey to the Italian Lake District, which lies on the fringe of the snow-capped Alps and shores dotted with charming and romantic villages.

MILAN – ITALIAN LAKE DISTRICT: Milan sightseeing (D)

Day2

Orvieto is located in south-western Umbria and situated on the flat summit of volcanic rock surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in Italy. Take the funicular up to the city center with the beautiful gardens of the Albornoz Fortress. Visit the famous Duomo, one of Italy’s grandest examples of Gothic architecture. Then travel to the capital of Italy – Rome, one of the world’s oldest city.

We begin our Rome sightseeing with view of The Colosseum. It was built in 72 AD, had seating for 70,000 people and is the biggest amphitheatre built by the Roman Empire. Next we proceed on to Trevi Fountain, the most famous fountain in Rome. Move on to the magnificent St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City, the largest and most renowned church in the world, built on the site where St Peter, the chief apostle, was buried in 64 AD.
