THE UPPER ROOM COMMUNION TONIGHT! November 13, 2016 4:00-6:00pm The Love Feast: A simple meal shared in Chrisan fellowship. Jesus shared a simple meal with His disciples at the Last Supper. This meal is a fellowship me characterized by His love. A remembrance that some day we will enjoy the great love feast with Him. (Revelaon 19:6-9) The church will be providing Chili for this meal. The Foot Washing: “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet” - John 13:14. We do this to remember our need for daily cleansing from sin. It is a symbol of love. (We have places for families, women and men to do this or you may observe) The Bread & Cup: This is a symbol of Christ’s broken body and shed blood and in obedience to Christ we observe this symbol of love unl He returns. Laurie will be mainly focusing on team training and consistent procedures within the ministry along with understanding the ins and outs of the ministry and building a special needs buddy ministry. Our team will now consist of Erin O’Hara as part-me Director, Laurie Haines as part-me Assistant Director and Nicole Gibson as part-me Nursery Director. As a church, we will be honoring and celebrang Pastor Mike and Margie Brubaker during the services on Sunday, December 4 th . 4:00-6:00pm The Love Feast: A simple meal shared in Christian fellowship. Jesus shared a simple meal with His disciples at the Last Supper. This meal is a fellowship time characterized by His love. A remembrance that some day we will enjoy the great love feast with Him. (Revelation 19:6-9)

attending GCC for 6 years and they have

two children: Bryce (8) and Brooke (5).

Laurie has volunteered in the Children’s

Ministry for 5 years and she and Eric

lead a Real Life Discipleship Small

Group. Laurie has started in her new

position.

Manager is Beth Wisch replacing

the retiring Verlyn Mahaffey. Beth

and her husband Matt have been

attending GCC for 2 years and lead

the Starting Point Ministry and are

both serving in the Youth Ministry.

Matt and Beth have 2 children:

Elise (6) and Leia (16). She will begin her tenure here on

November 8.
