A few words of advice from
our 7th grade student body.
Top 10 Parenting Tips From the Current 7th Grade Class
1. Don’t get mad at us for growing up!
2. You can expect us to be just as good as you were in middle school.
3. If you hear about a fire in science, it’s just the Bunsen burners...honest.
4. Don’t ask to visit us in the lunch room.
5. Take away their cell phones now, and give them back when they go to college.
6. Chaperone field trips, but stay home for the dances.
7. The phrase, “My teacher hates me” is code for “I screwed up.”
8. “Say goodbye to A’s and B’s, here come the C’s.” Chill, I’m more than my grades.
9. We don’t like to admit it, but the truth is 94% of us really like coming to HMS.
10. Buy your kids all the supplies they need, but let them pick out their own clothes.
