Project Description:
Students will create a plan on how HCA should revamp their outreach program on Diabetes to Latinos in
Nashville. They will integrate Spanish, English, Science, Health Science and Social Studies into the
culminating project. To do this each class will approach the topic from a multifaceted perspective.
Students will create public service announcements, marketing campaigns, interpreting primary
documents, doing in-depth research, and analyzing patient data. The culminating project will be
presented to a panel of HCA Corporate employees and the COO of Southern Hills Hospital.

Project Description:
Students will create a plan on how HCA should revamp their outreach program on Diabetes to Latinos in
Nashville. They will integrate Spanish, English, Science, Health Science and Social Studies into the culminating
