HINTS FOR WALKING
Dress appropriately for the weather. Wear suitable supportive footwear.
Walk to increase breathing but not to exhaust. Drink plenty of water. Remember to bring any necessary medication e.g.
inhaler. Tell a walk leader if you are leaving a walk.

Avon past a new wildlife pond. The walk continues beside the
Avon, leaving to visit a little known part of Avonview Cemetery before ending at Church Road, St George, close to the junction

A linear walk, mainly on footpaths that will explore The Dings then continue to Temple Meads. Walkers may choose to leave the walk
here (1.6 miles) or continue to Victoria Park, finishing at Windmill Hill City Farm. Cafes and pubs are in nearby Bedminster Parade
where frequent buses leave for the Centre & Broadmead. Leader: Andy with Anne (BM) & Peter

A linear walk from Bethesda Church to Historic Old Market.
A few uneven surfaces, such as cobbles. Return by bus to Bethesda Church for our Christmas get together.
Bring along Christmas snacks to share, but most of all, come to the meeting even if you cannot make the walk.
