A linear walk following the sound of the Strad Brook down to the

Avon past a new wildlife pond. The walk continues beside the

Avon, leaving to visit a little known part of Avonview Cemetery before ending at Church Road, St George, close to the junction

A linear walk, mainly on footpaths that will explore The Dings then continue to Temple Meads. Walkers may choose to leave the walk

here (1.6 miles) or continue to Victoria Park, finishing at Windmill Hill City Farm. Cafes and pubs are in nearby Bedminster Parade

where frequent buses leave for the Centre & Broadmead. Leader: Andy with Anne (BM) & Peter

Repeat of a very popular walk. From Southmead Hospital we will

follow the River Trym through beautiful Badocks Wood and visit Canford Park before ending at Westbury-on-Trym’s war memorial.

Xmas Stroll

to Old Market

Bethesda Church

Corner of Church Rd/Avonvale Rd

A linear walk from Bethesda Church to Historic Old Market.

A few uneven surfaces, such as cobbles. Return by bus to Bethesda Church for our Christmas get together.

Bring along Christmas snacks to share, but most of all, come to the meeting even if you cannot make the walk.

Food can be left at the Church before the walk. Leader: Liz with Alan (BM) & Richard
