PPG_TI2 at BA7 reinforced to sustain a pressure up to 35mbar plus some sealing around cables and beam pipe

7 Handling means (PR632 crane repair, BA7 door)

• First inspection in January 09.• Not operated for more than 10

years.• A lot of components to be changed

(3 speed variators, remote control, 3 motors….)

• As expected repair cost > 100 k, price enquiry needed delays.

• Cost & delay saving approach : dismount the crane for repair at the surface (EHN1)

• Goal : back and operational underground in early 2010

• EN-HE will start dismounting it end of next week after cleaning-up by ASN under

RP team monitoring. 13 subsets identified.• BA7 motorized door to be refurbished by the end of the year.

8 Survey scanning of TTC6 and WANF Area

• Suggested by Integration team

• Will save time in Integration studies

• Will help a lot regarding ALARA principles

• Can be carried out within one week before Xmas shutdown

• Detailed discussion tomorrow with survey responsible.
