His Majesty’s vision to Develop Human Resources
The gracious endowments of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos are ongoing for the people of the beloved Oman who are inspired by true loyalty and faithfulness to their beloved leader and country. Omanis have made lots of sacrifices and they still do to achieve the future vision of their dear leader may Almighty God grant His Majesty assistance, protection and support and keep him safe all the time. His Majesty has always wanted Oman to be a modern state in the real sense of the word where human resource is the most important element of development and people of Oman only can keep the Omani flag flying high in the sky. His Majesty the Sultan has shown a great care and concern for the people believing in the decisive role of the human factor in building the countries and in his address before the Council of Oman on 25 September 2001 he said:
“Nations are being built solely by the hands of the citizens: progress and prosperity can only be achieved through learning, experience, training and qualifications. No doubt, the real wealth of any nation is made up of its human resources. They are the power that achieves development in all walks of life. They are indeed the power behind ever-changing ambitions. This is indeed the way towards glory, dignity and success.”
Undoubtedly, human resource plays a key role in rendering the strategic goals and in gaining distinction through providing ideal preparation programs leading to employment according to abilities and skills. His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has granted RO 100 million for the human resources development programme, including 1,000 scholarships to study abroad for Masters and PhDs. This is a precious endowment having many benefits and it is a crowning of the achievements that have been made during the past 40 years of the blessed Omani Renaissance under the guidance of His Majesty the Sultan.
